Yellahoose builds and launches tailored CMS for IEA Energy

November 2007 - SlickFish Studios and Yellahoose built and launched a new web site for IEA Energy, an engineering firm for the energy market, with offices in Portland, Maine and Fort Mill, South Carolina.

The new web site, built using cutting edge HTML and CSS and Flash, uses a secure and easy-to-use content management system (CMS) developed specifically for IEA by Yellahoose and SlickFish. The CMS uses IEA's existing infrastructure (users in Active Directory) to authenticate and permit access to web content managers, identified by group assignment. The CMS uses PHP and compiled in LDAP tools and MySQL.

SlickFish Studios re-launches 10th Mt Ski Club web site

November 2007 - SlickFish Studios relaunched the web site for 10th Mountain Ski Club, with programming and hosting assistance from Yellahoose. 10th Mountain is non-profit organization promoting healthy lifestyles and local economic development for Fort Kent and surrounding communities.

Gordon Holman of SlickFish developed a hot new design and web site and improved work flow, and Yellahoose implemented content management tools custom fit to the site primarily using WordPress.

In preparation for the relaunch, it was also decided the web site needed to be moved to a provider able to grow as 10th Mountain added new content and features. That move was completed while Jim Cradock of Yellahoose was driving through Crawford Notch on the way to visit his sister in Montreal.

The content management system used WordPress, with considerable customizations from Yellahoose. Additional programming was done in PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. Web site metrics are tracked and reported upon using Google Analytics.
