SlickFish Studios launches Sam Allen Photography site

July 2007 - SlickFish Studios launched the website for Sam Allen Photography, featuring fine dog portraits.



Yellahoose assisted by working with Sam and Gordon Holman of Slickfish to build tools enabling Sam to set schedules for customers to make rservations online, including making deposits (processing payments using Authorize.net as a gateway) for reservations.

Additionally, Yellahoose developed a solution integrating reservations on the website with Sam's calendar program, iCal, on her Mac desktop.

Freshwater Biodiversity portal added to KnowledgeBase

September 2010 - KnowledgeBase, the online resource for documents and data for the Gulf of Maine watershed, added a significant new portal feature related to freshwater biodiversity in September. Yellahoose developed the site's collections pages with Peter Vaux, at the University of Maine, and a new dynamic species mapper was added to the web site.



Mapping development was done using Google Maps API version 3.0. Yellahoose used the MySQL RDBMS and PHP and Python programming. KnowledgeBase and features used by it and its linked sites are hosted on CentOS and Debian, two versions of Linux.



Web hosting for the KB site is by Packawhallop.

Scorebuilders launches new web and ecommerce site

September 2010 - Scorebuilders, the Scarborough-based provider of physical therapy training and license examination preparation tools and software, launched its new web and ecommerce site in September. LuDesign Studios and SlickFish Studios did the great graphic design work. And Yellahoose was brought in to rearchitect data management, programming and end-user experience for Scorebuilders' online ordering.



Work included programming in PHP and ASP, working with and integrating orders and users for online courses in Microsoft SQL Server, web server (IIS) and Windows Server administration - not to mention needs assessment and planning development of and getting Scorebuilders' feedback on the online purchase experience.

Goodwill Industries of Northern New England - AmeriCorps site moves and is updated

August 2010 - Goodwill Industries of Northern New England's AmeriCorps web site was updated in August, and the web, database and file server was moved to a new host. Yellahoose worked with the hosting provider's data center to make the transitions, and Yellahoose implemented new work flow and graphic design changes to the GINNE AmeriCorps site with AmerCorps Program Director, Joely Ross' input and assistance.



More changes are scheduled for September.

Michele Tremblay for New Hampshire State Senate!

July 2010 - Michele Tremblay is running for state senate in New Hampshire's District 7. Yellahoose helped out by quickly building a site for her fledgling campaign, including value-added features like a donation and online payment feature and a newsletter sign-up function.



www.TremblayforSenate.com is hosted by Packawhallop, a web products and hosting hosting business co-owned by Yellahoose's owner, James Cradock.

Paddock & Company relaunch and upgrade Sacred Bear Ecommerce site

July 2010 - Paddock & Company relaunched Sacred Bear's online store, which showcases Navajo and Zuni jewelry. Yellahoose managed the migration of data from osCommerce to BigCommerce and worked with Merchant Corner, BigCommerce specialists, to facilitate the upgrade.

BAD Studio launches Illuminations Contact e-commerce site

June 2010 - Illuminations Contract, of Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama, re-launched its web site and launched its wholly new e-commerce solution, designed and project managed by BADSTUDIO of Atlanta with assistance from Yellahoose of Portland, Maine.



Yellahoose took the great graphic design concepts produced by BADSTUDIO and implemented them in Pinnacle Cart, a hosted PHP shopping cart and online store solutions. As part of these major web site updates Illuminations' own public web site was moved to Pinnacle's data center too, ensuring 24/7/365 web site availability.



Illuminations' e-commerce site features a full catalog, B2B solutions, details, invoicing, online payment processing through Authorize.net, and drop ship functionality.
